Meet Dan Christensen – Your Trusted State Farm Agent!

Hello! I’m excited to introduce myself as a dedicated State Farm Agent with over 40 years of experience. Since opening my agency in 1981, I have been passionate about helping individuals and families protect what matters most to them through personalized insurance coverage.

At my agency, we offer a wide range of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance. My team and I are committed to providing exceptional service, ensuring that you understand your options and feel confident in your insurance choices. We believe that insurance is about providing the support you need as you navigate life’s journey.

Community involvement is very important to me. I’ve been an active member of Rotary International since 1997, where I had the honor of serving as the Past District Youth Exchange Coordinator. My passion for humanitarian work has led me to participate in the African Missionary Hospital Construction project since 2004, an experience that has profoundly shaped my outlook on service.

In addition to my community efforts, I’ve enjoyed supporting local businesses and initiatives through my roles on the South Tongass Utility Board and the Chamber of Commerce. My professional journey began in the U.S. Army, where I served as a Military Officer from 1974 to 1991, gaining valuable leadership skills that I apply in my work today.

I also have a strong background in education, having taught in both the Oregon School District (1979-1981) and the South Australia School District (1975-1977). I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the Oregon College of Education and am proud to be an Eagle Scout.

I’m committed to contributing positively to both my professional and local communities. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you with your insurance needs.
